Derek Lowe on the hill.

Derek Lowe looked sharp for 3 innings… He was all smiles talking to Doug Mientkiewicz while running to 1st after being walked. We had to move back to the 4th row today because it was too hot sitting in the 3rd.

Guess who pulls up during the National Anthem?

Pedro literally pulled up during the National Anthem… I guess you can say - he shows up where he wants, when he wants… Theo and Terry do not miss these antics…

5 mins before the game... Pedro is not there??? Somethings never change.

JD set us up with “all access passes”… We took a tour of the player facilities and even got a tour of the player’s parking lot. The car of choice seemed to be the Mercedes, and a hand full of Hummers. We one the other hand still have our Dodge Stratus.

Tommy Lasorda

I am not a fan of Tommy’s… Yelling at the ticket takers, acting like he owned the place… Tommy, lighten up!

Not going to lie... front 9 was horrendous!

Alligator on the 11th hole.

We see this alligator every year on the 11th hole. Every year he sees 4 or 5 golf balls land in his river…

Carlos Beltran.

Once again we were treated to very nice seats… This time, 3rd row behind the plate… The owner of the Mets to our left, scouts and other Mets personnel to our right. NYM lost 3-2 to the Florida Marlins.

Tradition Field, Spring Training home of the Mets.

Cool stadium. Holds about 6,800 people (mostly older people that have no clue what’s happening around them)…

Good 1st day.

Our Tee time was 7:01am. SML killed himself by adding 10 strokes on “dumb shots”… I on the other hand lost 5 balls (the alligators were hungry).
We have Tee times for 7:02 and 7:03 the next two days!

The Mets were able to overcome a 3-2 deficit in the ninth to win 4-3 on back-to-back home runs!
