Reed Charity Golf Results

Hello everyone,

Once again, we lucked out with great weather again this year. I did a quick tally and it appears that we may have raised over $1500.00 for the Epilepsy Foundation. That’s probably the most we’ve raised yet. Thank you all so much for attending this year’s event, and for your generosity. Below are the results of this year’s tournament. We hope you had fun, and we hope to see you all again next year.

Winning Team: With the tourney’s best performance ever with a 61, this year’s winners by tie breaker were Bob Reed, Gary Mucciarone, Tara Capobianco, and Ross Capobianco.

Swim Results

Thank you for supporting me by making a donation to the 2007 Swim Across America event. As I sit here sunburned, sore, and tired after a weekend of swimming, I can reflect on the smiles of the children at the Jimmy Fund. With water temps ranging from 57-63 degrees and jelly fish on Friday in the Boston Harbor, I was rallied by my swimmers from Cambridge Masters to return to cold water on Saturday morning for the beach swim at Nantasket Beach. I, personally, raised $3,935, and along with 13 Cambridge Masters Members, we raised $14715. In total, Swim Across America-Boston raised over $300,000 from this year’s events.

Just before Boston Light and the water temp is 57° & I think a shortie wet suit is okay. What was I thinking?(I’m in the center in line with the light house)



This is on the way back. In the 2 ½ foot swells, it made going by Logan Airport less than fun.

Newman Mailman

Evidently Newman is a fat, funny “mailman” (get the connection?) on Sienfeld - this is the new labs name… I was voting for Elijah or Harry (Cousin Clint’s favorite name…) but I lost.

Here’s to a long life of peeing on the kitchen floor, and chewing furniture!

For those if you looking for a low maintenance, fun, profitable (maybe if you’re lucky) baseball pool, here is the deal:
I am looking for 10 teams @ $150/team.
You can have partners (silent or obnoxiously loud).
We draft 3 teams (pool of teams combined from AL and NL). 30 MLB teams / 10 teams = 3 teams each.
The order of the draft is picked out of a hat.
What we are playing for , in the regular season, is combined wins, running tally, by the three (3) teams you draft.
10 teams pick the first 2 MLB teams in the following draft order:

For the third round we throw all teams back into a hat and pick 21-30.
Now 10 teams have 3 MLB teams each.

Payout looks like this:

For the playoffs, it is not combined wins, but simply how far you individual team(s) go:

Stephen Reed 6th Annual Golf Tournament


Hello everyone,

Below are the teams and tee times for this year’s event. We’ll be keeping the same format as usual. Cash prizes for first place in the scramble, and prizes for men’s and women’s longest drive and closest to pin. What you’ll need to bring is a check (or cash) written out to me in the amount of $45.00. This will cover your golf and cart for the day. Also, $10.00 in cash to go towards the prizes. Finally, if you choose to donate, a check written out to the Epilepsy Foundation of MA & RI (the amount is up to you). Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your tee time.

CJ and I will be having a cookout at our house in Mansfield again, and I’ve included directions below. Please note, our house has gone through some changes this year - we’ve painted it tan and have added an addition. Please forward this email to any player that is not on the email list.
