New Worcester Technical High is dedicated

WORCESTER— On a day heavy with accolade-laden adults, Michael Jette put in a good word from the students.

“Worcester Tech is No. 1 when it comes to preparing students such as myself to go out into the work force … or college,” said the confident senior at Worcester Technical High School.

Michael was a lonely but proud figure on the stage yesterday during a 90-minute dedication ceremony at the new Worcester Technical High. The $90 million school on Skyline Drive, the largest public project in city history, opened to students three weeks ago.
