Brookline -Brookline officials are considering whether to block demolition of a $16 million Georgian Revival mansion on Cottage Street.
Red Sox owner John Henry, who bought the estate from Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt last month, filed demolition certificate applications with the town on Tuesday.
