Hello Everyone,
We finally have access to email after a harrowing couple of weeks of surgery, moving, and delivering a beautiful baby girl! Ella Hazelyn Hendricks was born on Tuesday May 15th at 5:12pm. She weighed 7 Llbs 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. The delivery went well and even though Dale is hobbling around on crutches, he was an amazing labor partner. Nicole delivered Ella naturally and if you look at the photo, you'll notice she has a bloodshot eye to show for it--needless to say the last part of the labor was tough. While all of this was happening, we were scheduled to close on our new house the very same day, as a result, the lawyer came to the hospital and Nicole signed the closing documents between contractions (yes, this could be a movie script). So along with a strong little girl, we also have a new house! Dale is still hobbling on crutches, but managed to coordinate the move with the tremendous help of our friends and family (we want to thank them again for the Herculean effort).
