The Tavern and the Gazebo are adjoining parking lots for "shopping widowers" by day, but at night they're quite a different animal. Under the same management, the Tavern (open May-Columbus Day) is more subdued than its front-yard counterpart. The Gazebo (open May-mid-September) is the closest thing the island has to a singles bar. The thirtysomething crowd consists of visitors and locals. The Tavern closes at 1 AM, the Gazebo at midnight.
